This digital age

I'm going to try to make this a weekly thing. It won't be all about work, but I'm there so much. I need one of those vacations where I actually leave town and don't get called in. If only I could go dancing tonight. I have no idea when I will be done with closing. I'll hope for the best, plan for the worst.

Where did the time go?

ARMS...LIKE...NOODLES!

 Once again I've neglected this whole blog thingy. Maybe it's the glut of social media responsibilities or the preoccupation with work issues. Maybe I'm lazy... we'll never know. I was rewarded with a leather jacket for five years of dedication to my job. It fits like a glove, as in it fits as well as a glove would for a jacket. It's simultaneously too large and small.  I know I'm short but I doubt I'm that oddly shaped for a human.

 I went through another gaming phase. I swear, every few years I'll play a game or two obsessively and then realize I am completely wasting my time. At least in Minecraft I have something to show for my time, sort of. Portal 2 was as great as I hoped, but it ended. I have many more obnoxious quotes I can recite at the drop of a hat.  Spaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaace!

I treated myself to a new laptop. The old Dell has been dead for months. Now I just need to make some new art for a lid sticker. I started working on this today (using that paper cut-out 60's style that is so popular) and am almost done. It just needs a little polishing.

Survival Island

I'm playing the Survival Island Minecraft challenge by Ashien. I'm a few days in and am in dire need of food. Come on wheat! Grow faster! On the plus side I've nearly surrounded the island with a wall of cacti.

E is for Emo... I mean Eyewing

Yes, it's a monster that cries on you. I kid you not!

D is For Displacer Beast

Sorry for the delay but it took several attempts to get this right. I have displacer beast pieces littering my desk reminiscent of the failed Ripley clones from Alien Resurrection. In the end I went in the kawaii direction. I think it works.
