I treated myself to a new laptop. The old Dell has been dead for months. Now I just need to make some new art for a lid sticker. I started working on this today (using that paper cut-out 60's style that is so popular) and am almost done. It just needs a little polishing.

I've finally decided to make the jump from Coreldraw 8 to X4. Yeah, there have been a few changes since 1999. Also, now I only have a laptop. The plan was to make a "docking station" with a larger monitor, mouse keyboard, speakers etc. for doing work. Without having a magical extra-dimensional closet, I'm not sure where I'd fit said hypothetical work station. So, in the meantime I'm just crapping out some cute stuff to get used to the new software. DRAWING WITH A TOUCHPAD SUCKS!

I'd really like to have curtains with this pattern, but alas, I cannot find pineapple and plaid yellow fabric.

So it is my day off. I meant to clean, sincerely, but I must confess that I'm quite useless after a night of drinking and watching Lonesome Dove. Instead I sat in bed working on these. Keep in mind, these are works in progress.
